Who is FLP? FLP is the worldwide company which operates in 120 countries. This
company is proud of their excellent working conditions and provided benefits.
FLP grows Aloe Vera by themselves to assure you it is cultivated in a
toxic-free environment. Thousands of acres of plantations are in Dominican
Republic, Mexico and the Rio Grande Valley of Texas to meet the worldwide
demand of their products.
Their Aloe Vera leaves are harvested by hand, then washed and filleted to
remove the exterior rind. The inner gel is collected for stabilization
(the critical patented process that prevents the loss of Aloe's nutrients and
other important elements.
Usage of inner gel only - not whole leaf. Clear inner gel contains Aloe's
most beneficial ingredients and leaves the natural balance of
nutrients undisturbed. FLP holds several essential patents for the
stabilization of Aloe Vera.
Aloe Vera is the number one ingredient in their products - they do not simply
add a few drops, they start with 100% inner gel and combine just enough of
other ingredients as required. Their stabilized Aloe Vera has been declered as
'essentially identical' (Food & Drug Laboratories of New York) to the raw gel.
Health, beauty & nutritional products carry prestigious stamp of the
International Aloe Science Council Seal of Approval, certifying that their
products contain 100% stabilized Aloe Vera Gel.

Aloe Vera is often called 'Miracle Plant' or 'Natural Healer'.
Also it is a plant of many surprises and has long association with herbal medicine.
Queen Cleopatra and Queen Nefertiti were well known for their unsurpassed beauty,
and both of these famous women used Aloe Vera as part of their beauty regime.
It has been studied that the greatest gift from nature for younger and helthier body is Aloe Vera.
Aloe Vera Barbadensis is non-toxic, with no known side effects.
Whilst most species are non-toxic, there are about
15 poisonous ones, including one containing a lethal deadly hemlock like substance,
similar to that chosen by Socrates to end his life.
Aloe Vera is often mistaken for a cactus, but in fact it is a succulent and
one of the members of the lily family. The lily family including about
3700 species of flowering plants. Aloe Vera itself forms part of a subspecies
of which there are over 200 types.
It is a species of succulent plant that probably originated in Northern Africa,
but for the years have been traveled widely. Aloe Vera grows in dry climates
and is a stemless or very short-stemmed succulent plant growing up to 100 cm (39 in) tall.
The solid portion of the plant forms only 1-1.5%, the rest being water.
To reach maturity of Aloe Vera is 4-5 years and their leaves are about 60 cm in length.
Aloe Vera, being perennial and has a life span of about 12 years, although the leaves
are usually harvested at about 3-4 years of age.
There are over 75 ingredients in the Aloe Vera leaf, as following:
Minerals
- Calcium play a significant structural role in bones and teeth
(almost 99% of the body's calcium is stored in the bones and teeth) and is essential
for cellular structure and nerve transmission. Long-term deficiency can lead to
rickets and poor blood clotting and in case of a menopausal woman,
it can lead to osteoporosis, in which the bone deteriorates
and the risk of fractures will increase. Vitamin D also works synergistically to enhance
the absorption of calcium. Calcium is an important component of a healthy diet and
research shows that women who supplement their diets with calcium and vitamin D
have improved bone structure and bone strength. Around the age 35 people start losing
bone density anyway, but its never too late to take action. No matter what your age,
boosting your calcium will help you hold on to what you have and even rebuild a little bit.
New research has just found that to boost your calcium level may be one of the best things
you can do to relieve the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome.

- Magnesium is an essential mineral nutrition for life and play significant role
in repairing damaged tissue. Magnesium and Calcium build strong bones and teeth,
help in daily metabolism and are also vital for muscle contraction and relaxation.
Lack of useable calcium an magnesium in the body cause poor and dietary deficiencies.
Green vegetables such as spinach provide magnesium because of the abundance of chlorophyll molecules
which contain the ion. Spices, nuts (especially cashews and almonds), cereals, seeds, some whole grains,
coffee, cocoa and tea are rich sources of magnesium. Dairy products are high in natural magnesium also.
People suffering from IBS are usually very sensitive to dairy products so it is important that
they take supplements daily. Aloe Vera is recommended natural source of magnesium and calcium,
also suitable for IBS individuals.
- Manganese is component of many enzymes and is necessary for the activation of others.
These substances are complex proteins, which act as biochemical catalysts, thereby speeding up
the route of clinical reaction in the plant.
- Sodium is very important mineral, responsible for preventing body fluids from becoming
too acid or too alkaline. Also involved int he electrical conductivity in muscles and nerves.
The main dietary source is common table salt. Other sources are foods such as meat, cheese products,
bread products and olives are an excellent source of sodium. Sodium works in conjunction with potassium
to balance the body's water. It is well known that without adequate levels of sodium, normal heart rhythm
cannot be maintained. Sodium deficiency does occur, but is very rare.
- Zinc is involved in major metabolic pathways contributing to the metabolism of proteins,
carbohydrates (sugars) and fats. It is an abundant trace element in the human body that is essential
for growth and development and immune function. Zinc is recognized as a very important factor in men's health
and reproductive function. Oysters have the highest zinc content of any food.
The food plants that contain the most zinc are wheat (bran and germ) and seeds such as
(sesame, poppy, alfalfa, celery and mustard), also is found in beans, nuts, whole grains, pumpkin seeds,
sunflower seeds, almonds and blackcurrant. The group of people at risk for zinc deficiency include the
elderly, vegetarians and those with renal insufficiency.
